Thank you for your prayers. Daisy is eating a bit better today and has not thrown up. Gets a shot from Daddy in 1/2 hr. :-(
Daisy prayer request: she is shockingly thin and not eating. Ate a little today and puked it up. Needs appetite.
Giving your frail, emaciated daughter shots in the leg sucks! Daddy’s shouldn’t have to do that.

Welcome Home Daisy!
Daisy came home weighing 36 pounds. Lost 1/5 of her body weight. But she is eating French toast now!
She came home to piles and piles of gifts from all over the world. Our family marvels at the kindness of people, to the glory of God.
At the hospital with Daisy. Making progress, may go home this afternoon. Some dear friends took Isaiah to Universal Studios!
Yesterday was a very scary day. After her third consecutive night of chemotherapy Daisy had become unresponsive. She could not speak or control her body and would just stare off into space. This sort of catatonic state was only interrupted by occasional crying, whimpering, puking and other bodily functions over which she had very little control. It was terrifying to see little Daisy this way. ...
Very difficult night/day for Daisy. All sorts of bad reactions to chemo. Very, very scary. Needing prayer. Love. Isaiah 26:3
Daisy is having severe nausea. Please pray she settles and suffers a little less. We are so thankful for all of you.

Daisy prayer need: She has a rising fever. Not good w/ heavy chemo. Intense pain which meds are not controlling.
Daisy had a long hard night of chemo, vomiting, lots of pain and misery today. So sad, please pray for her.

Daisy had chemo through the night and did really well. No bad reactions. She has been sleeping all day. Thanks for praying!

Checking Daisy in for a few days of chemo… Trying hard not to break down and weep. Help us Lord.
Only about 80 children in N. America per year get what Daisy has: A recurring Wilms tumor.

Good meeting with Dr. Checking into Children’s Hospital on Friday to start chemo. Also exploring experimental options in Israel.
In an office waiting to meet with a brilliant doctor about Daisy’s cancer. Supposed to be one of best in world. Please pray.

We are checking Daisy out of the hospital in Santa Barbara right now and heading to Children’s Hospital in LA to work with a top specialist.

September 21, 2009 - Daisy was diagnosed with a Stage 3 Wilms Tumor.
September 24, 2009 – performed an nephrectomy...
Just got disheartening news (preliminary only): Daisy is looking at only a 30-50% cure rate with chemo. Is. 41:10
Daisy is recovering well from surgery. Won’t have pathology until Friday. The waiting is horrible. Exploring alternative treatments.
